Increasing awareness and funding for metastatic breast cancer
Patient advocacy group METUP UK is a new organization led by a group of metastatic breast cancer patients. In this video, recorded at the UK Oncology Forum (OF), held in Liverpool, UK, Beth Roberts from METUP UK speaks to us about her own experience with a breast cancer diagnosis. She relates this experience to METUP UK’s current goals for increasing general education about metastatic breast cancer, as well as increasing research funding and access to clinical trials for metastatic breast cancer patients.
