In this video, Harley talks about his immune system and how stem cell transplant patients’ immune systems are like that of children and are susceptible to many diseases you have to get immunized for again. Harley Hudson, a chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patient, decided to undergo a stem cell transplant after years of CLL treatment. Harley underwent chemotherapy treatment at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a part of a clinical trial, and then began preparing for his stem cell transplant at MD Anderson.
