Multiple Myeloma: a disease that changes

Prof. Nikhil Munshi, MD from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA discusses the development of multiple myeloma (MM) and the need for treatment to be adaptable. MM has a mixture of different types of cancer cells, therefore one type of treatment will not be suitable. Moreover, the disease keeps changing as it is being treated, therefore it is crucial that treatment adapts to the changing nature of the tumour cells. Recorded at the annual meeting of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) in Marseille, France.
